オペレーターに「宿の説明文ちゃんと読みましたか?外国人が泊まれないなら【Only Indian nationals are allowed】と明記されていますから」と言われドキッとする私。そんな項目があるだなんて知らなかった。前からあったっけ?というか、外国人が泊まれないなら「あなたはこの宿に泊まれません」的なエラーメッセ―ジが予約前に出るようにしてほしいんだが。ユーザーはインド人を想定しているからそういうニーズがほとんどないのは理解しているけど。
他にUberの車が走っていないようなのでOla(インド版Uber)で予約し直す。地方都市はUberよりもOlaの方が使っている人が多い傾向があるように個人的には思う。Olaの車はすぐにやって来たのでドライバーにOTP(One Time Password)を伝える(Olaは乗客がOTPを伝えないと乗車を開始できない)。するとドライバーが「支払い方法はオラマネー(電子マネー)か現金か」と聞いてきた。オラマネーだと答えるとなにやらヒンディー語(ウルドゥー語)でワーワー言いだす。残念ながら私のヒンディー語能力では聞き取ることはできず、ドライバーも全く英語を喋ることはできない。早くホテルに行ってくれと頼むも、ドライバーは私を後部座席に乗せたままどこかに消えた。
In addition to the Visa restrictions already in place, the following travel restriction shall also come into effect from 1200 GMT on March 18, 2020:
1. All incoming passenger traffic, on all 107 Immigration Check Posts which includes all Airport ICPs, all Seaport ICPs all Land Port ICPs, all Rail Port ICPs and all River Port ICPs, is prohibited, in the view of the spread of COVID-19.
Vehicles/Trains carrying goods for the trade or essential goods and supplies are exempted from this prohibition along with their crew, driver, helper, cleaner etc. subject to their thorough screening by the medical staff for COVID-19.
1. All passengers coming from European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden), European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland), Turkey and United Kingdom have been prohibited from entering India from any of the Land/Air/Seaport ICPs. This restriction shall come into effect from 1200 hrs GMT on March 18, 2020 at the port of first departure, and shall remain till March 31, 2020 and is a temporary measure.
i. Travel of passengers from Afghanistan, Philippines, Malaysia to India is prohibited with immediate effect. No Flight shall take-off from these countries to India after 1500 hours Indian Standard Time (IST). The Airlines shall enforce this at the port of initial departure. This instruction is a temporary measure and shall be enforced till 31st March 2020 and will be reviewed subsequently.
iv. All passengers coming from UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait will be placed under compulsory quarantine for a minimum period of 14 days which shall come into effect from 1200 hrs GMT on March 18, 2020 at the port of first departure.
i. All existing visas issued to nationals of any country except those issued to Diplomats, Officials, UN/International organizations, Employment, Project visas stand suspended till April 15, 2020. This will come into effect from 1200 GMT on March 13, 2020 at the port of departure of any foreigner for onward journey to India.
v. All incoming travelers, including Indian nationals arriving from any destination and having visited China, Italy, Iran, Republic of Korea, France, Spain and Germany on or after February 15, 2020 shall be quarantined for a minimum period of 14 days. This will come into effect from 1200 GMT on March 13, 2020 at the port of departure of such travelers.
(i) All regular (sticker) Visas/e-Visa granted to nationals of France, Germany and Spain and issued on or before 11.3.2020 and who have not yet entered India stand suspended with immediate effect.
(vii) Visas of all foreigners already in India remain valid. They may contact the nearest FRRO/FRO through e-FRRO module for extension/conversion etc of their visa or grant of any consular service if they choose to do so.
外国人が同州に入域するためにはILP(Inner Line Permit)が必要で、入域の際にFRO(外国人登録オフィス)に立ち寄らなければいけないのですが、入域許可がおりなくなるようです。
Sikkim has decided to ban entry of foreigners to insulate itself from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), leading to wide-spread fears among travel and tour operators and hoteliers in Darjeeling that booking would be cancelled.
i) All regular (sticker) Visas/e-Visa (including VoA for Japan and South Korea) granted to nationals of Italy, Iran, South Korea, Japan and issued on or before 03.03.2020 and who have not yet entered India, stand suspended with immediate effect. Such foreign nationals may not enter India from any Air, Land or Seaport ICPs. Those requiring to travel to India due to compelling reasons, may seek fresh visa from nearest Indian Embassy/Consulate.
ii) Regular (sticker) visa / e-Visa granted to nationals of Peoples Republic of China, issued on or before 05.02.2020 were suspended earlier. It shall remain in force. Such Chinese nationals may not enter India from any Air, Land or Seaport ICPs. Those needing to travel to India under compelling circumstances may apply for fresh visa to nearest Indian Embassy/Consulate.
iii) Regular (sticker) visas/e-Visas granted to all foreign nationals who have travelled to Peoples Republic of China, Iran, Italy, South Korea and Japan on or after 01.02.2020, and who have not yet entered India stand suspended with immediate effect. Such foreign nationals may not enter India from any Air, Land or Seaport ICPs. Those requiring to travel to India under compelling circumstances may apply for fresh visa to nearest Indian Embassy/Consulate.
iv) Diplomats, officials of UN and other International bodies, OCI cardholders and Aircrew from above countries are exempted from such restriction on entry. However, their medical screening is compulsory.
v) All foreign and Indian nationals entering into India from any port are required to furnish duly filled self declaration form (including personal particulars i.e. phone no. and address in India) and travel history, to Health officials and Immigration officials at all port.
vi) Passengers (foreign and Indian) other than those restricted, arriving directly or indirectly from China, South Korea, Japan, Iran, Italy, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand, Singapore and Taiwan must undergo medical screening at port of entry.
Existing Visas/e-Visas issued to Iranian nationals and other foreign nationals who have travelled to Iran on or after February 01, 2020 and who have not yet entered India, stand suspended with immediate effect. Such foreign nationals may not enter India from any air, land and seaport ICP.
If any foreign national of above category needs to travel to India for compelling reasons, he she may apply for fresh visa to nearest Indian Embassy/Consulate.
